Baked Ravioli

Ingredients:
  • 1lb of your favorite Ravioli, cooked
  • 1 16 oz jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 lb of ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese, motzarella or cheddar is what we use. 
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook your beef (or turkey) in a skillet until brown. 
  3. Add pasta sauce to your meat in the skillet.
  4. Place cooked ravioli in a 5qt casserole dish.
  5. Add your sauce to the ravioli & combine
  6. top with cheese (you can add more or less depending on how much cheesy goodness you like). 
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly.

Tia, I have been making a bit different version of this for years ... ok, not that many years, I'm not that old .. :) But my version is a tiny bit easier as I don't cook te ravioli ahead of time ... layer frozen ravioli (25 oz.) with your sauce and cheese - like lasagna ... sauce on bottom 1/2 the frozen ravioli, sauce and half the cheese, repeat! Bake 400 degrees for 40 minutes ... for me personally it's a bit easier than pre-cooking the ravioli ... and I have to admit, I usually cheat and use that Mids brand sauce with the Italian sausage ... soooo good and I don't have to cook that either, or cook meat! -- Angie
